Daniel Norris was born on 27 December 1728.1,2 He married Sarah Beaver on 28 September 1762.1,3,4 He began military service on 9 September 1775 in Captain John Taylor's Company of the Harford County, Maryland Militia.5 In 1776 Daniel Norris was a signer of the Association of Freemen for Bush River Lower before James McComas.6 On 28 March 1780, Daniel Norris served on the grand jury in Harford County, Maryland.5 He married Catherine about 1780.1,2 He died in 1804 intestate without issue at age ~76.1,2

Biography

John Whitaker was also known as John Whittacker. He was born about 1667.1 He married Catherine about 1685.1 He married Mary about 1686.1 In March 1694, John Whitaker had land surveyed known as "Whitaker's Purchase" (74 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland.1 In October 1696, John Whitaker obtained a land patent known as "Whitaker's Choice" in Baltimore County, Maryland.1 On 7 December 1697, Robert Love and Sarah Bond sold land known as "Whitaker's Ridge" (150 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland, to John Whitaker.1,2 On 11 August 1701, John Whitaker had land surveyed known as "Whitacre's Ridge" (250 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland.2 On 6 June 1702, John Whitaker obtained a land patent known as "Whitacre's Ridge" (250 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland.2 On 10 January 1706, John Whitaker obtained a land patent known as "The Enlargement" (128 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland.2 On 14 May 1713, John Whitaker and Mary sold land to Charles Hammond of Anne Arundel County known as "Whitacre's/Whitaker's Chance" (150 acres), with only the rights to "Phelps Luck" excepted, in Baltimore County, Maryland.2 He made a will on 9 November 1713. John Whitaker, Charles Whitaker, Peter Whitaker, Abraham Whitaker, and Isaac Whitaker were named as heirs. Mary, Elizabeth Whitaker, Sarah Whitaker, and Hannah Whitaker were mentioned in the will.1 John Whitaker died on 30 November 1713.1
