Biography

William Bradford was born about 1640. In 1665, William Bradford was a parish officer during the great plaque in St. Ann's Parish, London, England. It was recorded that "so conscientious was he in the performance of his duties that he remained in London, giving his personal attention to the sick and dying, though he removed his family to Islington."1

Dr. Thomas Emerson Bond was born about 1774. He was educated at University of Pennsylvania, studying medicine under his kinsmen, Dr. Thomas Bond and Dr. Phineas Bond, who were on the faculty.1 He was one of the founders of the Medical School of the University of Maryland.1 He married Christiana Birckhead about 1794.1 Between 1798 and 1844, Dr. Thomas Emerson Bond lived at Lombard Street near Sharpe Street in Baltimore City, Maryland.1 Between 1798 and 1844 Dr. Thomas Emerson Bond was a doctor.1 Dr. Thomas Emerson Bond was an editor of "The Christian Advocate" which was the official organ of the Methodist Episcopal Church.1 Between 1844 and 1856, Dr. Thomas Emerson Bond lived in New York, New York.1 He died in 1856.1
