William Bond had person sources.1 He was born about 1725. On 22 December 1774, William Bond was present at the meeting of the Harford County Committee in Harford County, Maryland, where he was appoint one of several gentlemen to collect the contribution for the Relief of the Poor in Boston.1 On 16 January 1775, William Bond was present at the meeting of the Harford County Committee in Harford County, Maryland, and appointed as one of the gentlemen for Bush River Lower Hundred to collect from the inhabitants either contributions for the Relief of the Poor in Boston or for the purchase of arms and ammunition.1 On 23 January 1775, William Bond was present at the meeting of the Harford County Committee in Harford County, Maryland.1 On 21 September 1775, William Bond was appointed by the Committee of Observation to solicit subscriptions to the Association of the Freemen of Maryland in Bush River Lower Hundred, Harford County, Maryland.1 He began military service on 9 December 1775 in Captain Jacob Bond's Company of the Harford County, Maryland Militia.1 In 1776, William Bond was designated to solicit subscriptions to the Association of the Freemen of Maryland in Bush River Lower Hundred, Harford County, Maryland.1

John Bond1

John Bond was born in 1712.2 He married Alice Anna Webster in 1732.1,2 In 1746, John Bond purchased lots in Joppa, Baltimore County, Maryland.2 Thomas Bond executed a land record regarding "Bond's Forest" (a portion including a house already built which was intended for a meeting house and became the Quakers' Little Falls Meeting and also a schoolhouse already built) to John Bond and Thomas Bond, Jr,, as trustees, in 1749.1,2 Between 1769 and 1773 John Bond was a judge of the Orphans' Court.2 In 1776, John Bond was one of the owner/proprietors of The Bush River Iron Works, which erected one of the first iron furnances in the colonies.1,22 John Bond was a large land owner and merchant who shipped tobacco from Joppa and Baltimore to England.2 John Bond was a Justice of the Peace.2 John Bond was a coroner.2 He was eventually read out of the Gunpowder Meeting of the Quakers for taking the oath of office.2 He was asked to join the Harford County "Committee on Correspondence" but declined, although his brother Jacob was a prominent member.2
