Fahnstock on 8 April 1866.1 About 1870 Aquilla C McComas engaged in a variety of businesses, including his own smith shop.1 In February 1881 Aquilla C McComas opened a grocery store, leaving his smith shop in the charge of his workman.1 About 1881, Aquilla C McComas lived in Warren County, Ohio.1 He was educated and brought up to his father's trade of blacksmith.1

About 1825 Otho Scott was a lawyer and became one of the most distinguished lawyers in Maryland.2 In 1860, Otho Scott codified the Laws of Maryland, condensing into two volumes all the varied and unskillfully framed laws passed in the State since its founding.2 He died in 1864.

Biography
Michael Homan, Sr., was also known as Michael Hohmann. He was also known as Michael Hoffman. He was born about 1720 in Partenstein, Spessart, Bavaria, Germany. He married Elisabeth Klinefelter about 1740. On 7 November 1754 Michael Homan, Sr., took the Oath of Allegiance. He migrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 7 November 1754 together with Elisabeth Klinefelter on the "John and Elizabeth", captained by Peter Ham.1 He was the father at the baptism of Johan Gotlieb Homan on 14 May 1755 at Christ Church on Bieber Creek in Rockland Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.2 Michael Homan, Sr., made a will on 11 January 1765. The executors were Johann Michael Klinefelter and Elisabeth Klinefelter. Michael Homan, Sr., died in 1768 in Shrewsbury Township, York County, Pennsylvania. He had his estate probated on 3 January 1769.3
