Thomas Rhodes was born about 1736.1 On 27 February 1767, Thomas Rhodes was named as an heir in the will of Richard Rhodes, Jr, together with Sarah McComas, John Rhodes, Richard Rhodes, Alexander McComas Rhodes, Aquila Rhodes, William Rhodes, Sarah Rhodes, Priscilla Rhodes, and Martha Rhodes.1 Thomas Rhodes registered for military service on 14 September 1775 as a private in Captain John Love's Co. No. 10.2 He ended military service on 11 December 1781 in Harford County, Maryland, discharged as being poor with a wife and children to support.2
