Biography

Edward Norris was born on 8 April 1741 in Baltimore County, Maryland.1,3,2 He married Elizabeth Amos on 21 November 1771.1,3,4,5,6,2 On 23 August 1774, Edward Norris was a member of the first petit jury in Harford County, Maryland.7 In 1776 Edward Norris signed the Association of Freemen for Spesutia Lower Hundred before Francis Holland.4 In 1776 Edward Norris signed the Association of Freemen for Gunpowder Upper before Captain Samuel Caldwell.4 He was listed in the tax record of 24 February 1778 in Gunpowder Upper Hundred, Harford County, Maryland.4 He died on 25 August 1793 in Harford County, Maryland, at age 52.3,2
