Hare married Shelman Hallie Harris on 4 June 1895 in Hampstead, Carroll County, Maryland. The marriage was performed by S. J. Derr.5,6,2,7 On 4 June 1895, Rovilla A. Hare lived in Carroll County, Maryland, prior to being married.8 Shelman Hallie Harris and she appeared in the census in 1900 in 8th District, Baltimore County, Maryland. Christophel Hare was also known as Stophel Hare. He was also known as Michael Hare. He was also known as Christophel Hair. He was also known as Christophel Haer. He was born before 1742 in Germany?2 He married Elizabetha Caleboch about 1761.2 He was listed in the tax record of 1773 in North Hundred, Baltimore County, Maryland. In June 1776, "Grape Spring" (22 1/2 acres) was resurveyed for Michael Heir, son of Philip Harren. "Grape Spring" was located near the Great Falls of the Gunpowder River in Baltimore County, Maryland. In 1779 Christophel Hare took an Oath of Fidelity (non-juror) at Court of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland. He was listed in the tax record of 1783 in Stansbury's Groves, Mine Run Hundred, Baltimore County, Maryland. Resident on the property were 1 Free Male and 11 White Inhabitants. The property consisted of 213 acres. On 8 November 1788, Christophel Hare purchased land known as "Stansbury's Groves" (158 acres) and part of "Foster's Neglect" (62 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland, from Thomas Stansbury for 349 pounds, 15 shillings. On 20 December 1788, Christophel Hare sold land to John Foster for 13 pounds known as "Grape Spring" (a 13 acre portion) in Baltimore County, Maryland. On 20 December 1788, Christophel Hare sold land to Jacob Burgupile for 80 pounds known as "Borings Range" (80 acres.) He and Elizabetha Caleboch appeared in the census in 1790 listed as Stophal Hair with a household of 1M>16, 1M<16, and 8F. He executed a land record acquiring it from Barney Ford in 1792. He executed a land record acquiring it from Alexis Lemmon in 1794 in Mine Run Hundred, Baltimore County, Maryland. In 1794, Christophel Hare purchased land known as "Horatio's Lot" (a 90 1/2 acres portion.) He was listed in the tax record of 1 October 1798 in Baltimore County, Maryland, as owning 298 acres of land, name unknown, with a log barn, 40'x20', and one Hew.(superscript d follows as if part of the abbreviation) Log Dwelling - House, 1 1/2 story, 26'x22'. On 26 January 1806 Christophel Hare and Elizabetha Caleboch were present for communion at St. Abraham's (Shaver) Lutheran Church in Beckleysville, Baltimore County, Maryland. On 25 December 1806 Christophel Hare was a communicant at St. Abraham's (Shaver) Lutheran Church in Beckleysville, Baltimore County, Maryland.3 He made a will on 1 September 1809 in Baltimore County, Maryland. The executors were Philip Hare and Elizabetha Caleboch. John Hare, Jacob B. Hare, and Magdalena Hare were named as heirs. Mary Hare, Catherine Hare, and Apolonia Hare were mentioned in the will.4 On 25 February 1811 Christophel Hare witnessed the will of Elizabeth Frank, wife of Philip Frank, Sr., dated 25 Feb 1811, and proved 9 Mar 1811. Other witnesses were Thomas Lemmon and George Downey. He had his estate probated on 27 May 1812. Philip Hare, John Hare, Jacob B. Hare, and Magdalena Hare were beneficiaries.4 Christophel Hare died in 1812 in Baltimore County, Maryland.5

William Edward ("Edwin or Edward") Holtzner married Mamie May Harris about 1914. On 5 June 1917, William Edward ("Edwin or Edward") Holtzner lived in Hampstead, Carroll County, Maryland.5 On 5 June 1917 William Edward ("Edwin or Edward") Holtzner was an employee of William A. Simon M. Feather was also known as Simon M. Feder. He was also known as Simon M. Fedder. He was also known as Simon M. Fetter. He was born on 15 August 1845 in Bedford Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.3 On 31 October 1850, Simon M. Feather appeared on the census in Union Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents, Philip Feather and Mary Ann Mock.4 On 26 July 1860, Simon M. Feather appeared on the census in Clairville, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents, Philip Feather and Mary Ann Mock.5 Simon M. Feather registered for military service on 29 August 1862. He enlisted as Private in Company E of the 138th PA Infantry (Union). From 30 Aug 1862 till mid June 1863, the unit guarded the B&O Railroad in Baltimore, and was headquartered in Relay House. During Simon's enlistment, the unit was engaged in many battles, including Brandy Station and the Wilderness. He was wounded 19 May 1864 at Spotsylvania, VA, captured & parolled on the field, and later recovered at McClellan General Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.6 He ended military service on 31 May 1865.6 He married Julia Ann Exline on 17 September 1865.1,2,7 On 9 August 1870 Simon M. Feather was a farm laborer.8 He and Julia Ann Exline appeared in the census on 9 August 1870 in Union Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, listed as owning $100 in personal property.
